Clamato Info

The following information was taken from Mott's website.
It details the general facts surrounding this mind-bogglingly delicious beverage.

I'm sure you will find it to be a interesting read, but more than that, I'm sure that by the time you're done reading, you will be salivating for a precious drop of its oh-so-good liquid. Just like I am...mmmm....clamato....

Clamato
Key Facts
Clamato is a light and refreshing zesty drink with a blend of tomatoes, onions, celery, spices and a dash of clam.

Varieties include:
Clamato Tomato Cocktail
Clamato Picante (mildly spicy)
(In Canada, I saw a Mexican Spicy version, though it wasn't very popular. Also, in Canada, we enjoy Extra Spicy instead of the toned-done Mildly Spicy Amercian version.)

History
Clamato Tomato Cocktail was introduced by Mott’s in 1969. With Clamato came an entirely new and unexpected juice category: seafood blends. The innovative Clamato is the #1 selling seafood blend from the frozen plains of northern Canada to the sunny shores of southern Mexico.
One key force driving Clamato’s popularity is the Bloody Caesar Cocktail. This Canadian invention, created by Walter Chell to celebrate the opening of Marco’s in Alberta, is Canada’s favorite cocktail. More than 250 million Mott’s Clamato Caesars are sold each year throughout North America.
